Better Late Than Never

I have wanted to start a blog for a long time. I have just been too intimidated to get started. I think I've put it off long enough, so here it goes! 


For this first post I will give an introduction to our little family.


Dan and I met before he left for his mission to Carlsbad, California. We were just friends at that time, but we started dating soon after he came home at the beginning of 2009. We got married in December, 2009, and were blessed with our little girl, Kara, in November of 2010. She is the sweetest little thing! We love being parents! She makes us smile every day. We love her so much!


Dan is studying Biology at USU and will be done with his Bachelors in about two years. He works at an insurance auditing company in Wellsville and is a CNA for home health care on the weekends. I am studying Elementary Education and will graduated next spring. Yay! I work at the Child Development Center at Logan Regional Hospital. I am currently head of the summer camp program with the school-aged children there. I am really loving it! After Dan finishes school at USU we will be heading to Dental school for 3 or 4 years, depending on the school Dan goes to. 


We are excited to have an exciting adventure when we leave for Dental school, but we love Cache Valley and want to raise our family here. We love this place and all of our great family and friends that we get spend time with often. 


So, now, to any of you who would like to tag along, please be patient as I get the hang of this blog thing. :) It will be new, fun, and exciting! Just like our dandy life.
